Mike: No. I finally found something to disagree with you on.
Geoff Moore is changing what he looks for and earlier.
That is the gist of the "evolution".
IMO only of course.
Note: "To reiterate my view of this particular list, I think it is a place to pursue the key concerns of gorilla game investing which include the care and feeding of current gorillas (I think Microsoft, for example, may have an infected tooth or two) and an ever-vigilant tornado watch. Note that I said tornado watch, not gorilla watch, for the tornado shows up, in my view, before the gorilla does. So to the degree that we engage in speculative searches, I would encourage us not to get too caught up in company financials until such time as we have confirmed tornado market warnings. Cheers, Geoff"
And perhaps more significantly he is using the word "Vision" more and more as a precursor to Revenue which he sees as key.
In other words, don't wait for earnings, not even for revenue, but buy on "vision".
Of course I may misunderstand. This is a little like interpreting scripture and like that there are differing views.
And he may simply be promoting his next book. But I think he is moving forward in time for hitting the buy button.
But let's watch and see.
And the question I posed is, if we can figure out what he is doing lately and especially after his next book comes out, will the thread follow suit?
Best.
