Tony, <Joey, what the heck is going on with the rumor mill about stocks? I just heard on KGO, the top radio station in the SF Bay Area, that the rumor about Intel losing a "a big Dell order" was false.> Have you seen the AMD thread lately? Those guys were getting all excited over Bill Fleckenstein's rumor that Dell was going with AMD: siliconinvestor.com Things were very heavy for the most part in chip land with Intel leading the charge to the downside for once, as there were rumors that Dell had cancelled a chip order and was switching some orders to AMD. I can't confirm that is the case; it certainly wouldn't be surprising, but that doesn't explain why the equipment stocks were roughed up pretty mightily. Tenchusatsu
