Re: "Picked up 50 AMDDJ.o's for 7 3/8.
I was shocked at how poorly the culeron intro was accepted.
Still see some downside for a few days but had to get back in.

Comment: My guess is a triple on those if you hold 'til April 19! Herd mentality prevalent this morning. Goldman Sachs stuff is just about digested, imho...I'm not ruling out the old whip saw unfolding this afternoon...AMD close at $56 plus?

The Culeron announcements, like most recent INTC announcements, is boring! Now that the market is familiar with the smooth spry Athy, retailers are prepared to wait for something sexy like the spitfire! In Q2, AMD will put all INTC's microprocessors in checkmate on a price/performance basis...AMD Q2 eps is likely to blow away Q1 eps ($1.00 or more?) which is likely to blow away Q4 record earnings of $0.43...

Looks like the bottom for the day was $53-1/8 which AMD just bounced off...Now it's time to test (successfully?) the high for the day of $56.25
