Well, the version that will actually be used may also have "heads up" display onto the windshield so you can watch the show and the traffic at the same time (hehehe). I saw the mercedes and this is just a rough demo so they can start getting some feedback as to what people really want and how much they might be willing to pay. This does point out though that it will become more and more difficult to be more than a foot or two away from an embedded processor in the not so distant future.
