CNBC on Flash and LCD screen shortages in Portable devices CNBC just ran a 3 minute-bit about the boom in portable devices and the current shortages in Flash Memeory and LCD screens. The shortages were blamed on smart-cell-phones being ramped up in a big way. Several flash memory comanies were named, but Sandisk's was somehow not mentioned, furthering the belief that this company is still below the radar of Wall Street. Taking a pummeling today. Oh well, let's see in a month from now where we stand. In a month, we could have the announcement that Sandisk brand SD cards are shipping. Marketing and Name-recognition. is the next big step for this company.
