One I'm looking at is DTE ($30), a boring old utility, but... Yields just under 7%, price/book about 1.15. Dividend appears very secure.
One but here is a 32% interest in PLUG, which translates to about $8/share. Also, some utilities are getting a bit more of a telecommunications twist (look at MTP today), DTE may be able to participate in a small way, given its acquisition of MCN, which has pipelines in Mich.
Comments, thoughts, anyone?
