John, I probably won't buy CSCO, but I felt USA Today's use of the quote was sure to get some comment. I don't place a lot of confidence in what they print, and I felt sure someone would come forward saying that there's only a bare casual relationship between an operating economy based on money changing hands, and a company's market cap. There's no such thing as a "market cap" on an economy, so the quoted comparison is silly on it's face. It does show how some people string disjointed ideas together to reach conclusions. Maybe it would have been better if I'd said that in the first place when I posted the reference. Chaz
