[Office.com's Traffic Increases to Nearly 1.3 Million Unique Visitors]

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 2000--Winstar Communications, Inc.'s Office.com Inc. today announced that its consolidated traffic for February increased to 1,258,000 unique visitors, as reported by Internet measurement firm Media Metrix in its February Digital Media Report.

This figure includes traffic growth of 619.5 percent from the previous month for Office.com(R), A Service From Winstar (http://www.office.com), the leading Online Business Center for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It also includes a 24.6 percent one-month gain for Individual.com (http://www.individual.com), the leading provider of free, individually-customized news, information and services to businesspeople over the Internet. Individual.com was recently acquired by Office.com Inc.

"Our outstanding traffic growth this month is a direct result of Office.com's new national advertising campaign, as well as our acquisition of Individual.com," said Jeff Cutler, general manager and chief operating officer of Office.com. "Although Online Business Centers are a recent Internet phenomenon, this is confirmation that Office.com is addressing the needs of the SMB market."

"The growth in Office.com's traffic is evidence that they are gaining traction with end users at small and medium-sized businesses," said Eric Klein, senior SMB analyst for The Yankee Group. "Going forward, success in the SMB destination site category will be predicated upon the right mix of tools and applications as well as relevant content. It looks as though Office.com has a good formula."
