"...we did get a hold of a report identifying some 800K buildings in the continental US alone that over the next 5 years would be potential wireless broadband users."

Leigh- Ironically this is exactly what I read out of the TeraBeam website. Or maybe a Gilder report on TeraBeam target market.

And I did pick up a similar stat from an LMDS market report. Specifically the LMDS report stated, "Of the 4.6 million commercial buildings in the United States, 99% are not served by fiber." Or 4.5 million don't have fiber. But of course, it's more than likely you will need three floors or higher to be a target. So that may bring the figure down to the 800,000 or so you mention.

But you are a point to point system. TeraBeam is speculated to be a point to multi-point system. So I don't quite understand how you plan on signing up multiple tenants cost effectively in an office building situation. Am I missing something?

Or I'm thinking you maybe targeting the same market the, "riser," players are. A situation where you have an all or none customer(the building owner) in the particular building you are bidding for. Then if a, "riser," gets the contract, the building owner offers high-speed access to all his tenants from the network the riser puts in place.

Can you clarify. Thanks. -MikeM(From Florida)
