RE: northstar.k12.ak.us Excellent site. You ought to send this link to Congressmen, who might learn from 5th graders that mining is an asset to a community, not a liability. On PBS, there was an episode of the "American Experience" this week that covered the Klondike Gold Rush. I was amused when it was described as "The largest invasion of Canada by Americans"
