Grasshopper, the problem with altering the technique is that I can rationalizing changing the stop loss under any circumstances. The Stop loss is a simple externally imposed discipline that assures the folio does not get populated with losing stocks. I accept a certain amount of whiplashes and can always reenter above $55 if I think that additional weighing in the semi's is justifiable.

Cyrrently, I am actually working on rationalizing a thesis that the top of the semi equip cycle is here and now, and that my hoped for $85 on CYMI will not occur.

We have reached a level of 1.41 in the BTB ratio and in the last two tops stocks started down a month or two before the BTB peaked, and my question is how much higher can the BTB ratio go?
