<The talking heads run the market now.>

Sadly, that is becoming truer and truer. Just blindly follow the talking heads that get paraded out to spout their biased agendas on CNBS.

I fall out of my chair about once a day now. Today it was when they talked about large state run pension funds taking profits in their internet stocks. Really now? And just how did such a stock fit into a pension fund profile to begin with?

The other day it was when their respected analyst tried to reason it was cheaper and safer to buy PALM than thru the backdoor with COMS. (Never mind that PALM is valued much higher than it's owner COMS. Don't matter in talking head land.)

And I just reviewed a friends "Blue Chip" mutual fund annual report. Anybody want to explain how CY, Winstar Communications, Martha Stewart Living (MSO), Millenium Pharmaceuticals, VISX, and Allegiance Telecom fit into this "Blue Chip" profile? Maybe a little profile drift? A little peformance chasing?
