One weird way that I use DMI is to look for the times when +dm and -dm are at the utmost separation ( say 92 and 1 ) from here it is hard for the current trend to continue... BUT, as the signal recovers the price often moves only as far as the 20dMA, at which time all three signals are now down in the under 30 range.... check it out.
