Thread- I wonder if this is the same group that took Paradyne private(bought it from Lucent), who in turn IPOed it to make substantial amounts of money. Sounds similar to what they plan to do here.

Once they get the disk drive business broken out, run it for a few years(on an upturn in the DD business), and then it won't surprise me in the least if it's IPO'ed back into a public company.

Very similar to what was done to the DSL company, Paradyne. It would be very interesting to see if it's the same group of investors. I'll try to dig up my notes to see if it's them.

I'm guessing a lot of SEG investors don't feel this is such a great deal to them. Am I right? The, "group," taking SEG private stands to make a great deal of money. It's kind of a shame for the, "group," to involve SEG officers. Doesn't sound right to me. -MikeM(From Florida)
