position trading/buying tops and selling bottoms .... I have to keep reminding my self that I sold my 150 dollar EBAY in the 90's
we were in a tech wreck at that time
EBAY's fall from grace (during that last tech fall)was never mentioned on cnbc ... no fundamentalists nothing ... not the fact that it was cut in half
nada nothing .... but funny ... when it started to go back up 10 20 points a day ...THEN it got mentioned.
SInce that time, I have weathered many a profit-taking days, to come out ahead after each tech wreck was over.
I did learn though ... during that time .... not to buy a position all at once ... as I am just not good enough to catch every low ...
as long as I am comfortable with the fundamentals of a company I trade, I know it will rebound strongly
Many traders are out there ... selling different stocks, to prevent margin calls, they are fearful and they are panicy.
I see this NAZ correction as (even though I hate it) needed and normal. The market cannot just go, straight up!
