Your description above is an exact mirror image of where I am at now. Lastshadow who's using ProTA gold as I do seems to be quite knowlegable on NN. A few years ago I was in the same boat, and I was posing a ton of question to poor Lastshadow! I knew nothing about statistics (never took a course in my life!), had been investing for less than a year, and couldn't define technical analysis if my life depended on it. Given enough time and enough persistance this is a skill built like any other. Read, ask questions, listen, and most importantly test things for yourself. Then repeat it all over again. You'll never learn it all, but you do get better at it. Even Lastshadow had to start from scratch. Even though I am comfortable modeling many stocks, I still tinker with things on an almost daily basis. I know that still have much to learn, and ultimately will never learn it all. Optim
