psychology of the market ... traders/investors will find a 'catalyst' ... that will turn the NAZ and techs. recently it was as simple as YHOO beating earnings ... we were nearing a good 10% correction on the wild NAZ at the time and the release of 'great earnings' from one 'leader' company was enough to change the whole direction of the previously fallen NAZ ... that will happen again I would expect. Their are so many 'big' guys that have not taken entry into wild growth stocks and are ticked off about it. Just view many of the mutual funds in the newspaper to get an idea of how many slow growth funds there are I actually believe the talking heads help cause panic ... just so that they can find entry in the stocks they previously spurned and had not taken positions in These are powerful people and we never quite know their honest purpose for saying the things they say, until after the fact better get back to doing taxes now ... my desk is a mess with ground pulp
