They say that loose lips sink ships, which might explain why the stock started falling apart after several sell-siders started whispering that the first quarter was done early and they are winning at least a few competitive situations against some of the big boys that get all the respect in this space. Too, I would guess that PaineWebber's retail system has been puking this stock since our axe Mr. Preissler left right after cashing his bonus check.
As far as Jack Spears of ABN AMRO is concerned, I would appreciate it if you would do me a favor and let him know that this will be the ninth year in a row that I will NotVote for him in the annual Institutional Investor analyst rankings. To be quite honest, he probably stood little chance of making even third team II, as the buyside has been calling for his head ever since ABN priced that ACXM deal last year. And while I understand that he needs to reinvent himself in an attempt to revive his fading career, he is just too old to be taken seriously in the new economy.

We are in the quiet period so I would not expect much in the way of noise from the company until earnings come out.
