Simply raising and managing OPM (other people's money) works well, based on 20% override above 10% annualized gain hurdle rate. I am learning from wife's new business. Need own capital to invest alongside OPM, acting as a disciplinary check on quality of deal sourcing/exit valuation etc and have an answer to investor querry "how much are you putting in to this deal that you are recommending to me?"
