Nah, nothing's up. This morning EMC is at 135 euros bid, 136 euros offered in Germany. In US$, that is a market around 129/130, just where you would expect.

I think that some highly uninformed retail investor heard about the SEG acquisition, and knowing nothing else and looking at nothing else, decided that 'storage is storage' and put in a market buy after hours for EMC. As we all know, EMC is highly illiquid after hours, and the broker probably took advantage. Only 100 shares traded at 143 1/8. The trade immediately before that trade was a cross of 100 shares on the midwest exchange (not a third market trade and more reliable) at a price of 130 13/16.
