WaveRider Signs LMS2000 Agreement with ZipLink Canada

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2000--WaveRider Communications Inc. (OTCBB:WAVC - news;
Frankfurt:WVR.FSE), a global provider of fixed wireless Internet access products, today announced it has signed an agreement with ZipLink Canada, a subsidiary
of ZipLink, Inc. (Nasdaq:ZIPL - news), to install WaveRider's LMS2000 product on ZipLink Canada's backbone network infrastructure enabling a wireless
Internet connection for businesses in four industrial parks: two located in Toronto and Lindsay, Ontario and two in Sydney and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

WaveRider recently launched their LMS2000 product in Las Vegas at IWCE. The LMS2000 product, which provides high-speed wireless Internet access at
speeds up to 11 Mbps, represents the first offering in WaveRider's Last Mile Solution© product line. The LMS product family provides a cost-effective, highly
scalable wireless Internet connection to both business and residential customers.
