[re: SMR] >> What is SMR? Offhand, though, I'd say that Coherent is not in this business, since making echo cancellation hardware and software is their primary business. It's supposed to be the next generation cellular telephone technology. Actually, I understand it's been around as long as cellular -- identified by the FCC at the same time. They chose to implement cellular at the time 'cuz of the available technology. Not that the communication industry is going more digital, SMR may be ressurrected. Since it's digital, it has a lot of advantages over cellular. I'm just in the research stage at this time.
