RE: A different perspective on Meredith...I think of the last two analyst meetings, the first at which he told everyone that Y2K would have no effect on DELL (when it had a significant effect), and the more recent meeting when he told everyone that the Taiwan earthquake would not effect DELL at all, mere days before DELL had to warn. Of course, those two still pale when I think of my favorite, when DELL told analysts that DELL absolutely never speculated in foreign currencies. That one is still tough to beat. Could argue forever on this ....But, I wouldn't expect anything positive coming from you....I'm sure you ignored his record for the entire meteoric rise his was a part of ....Accentuate the negative...
