No one at Novell has pulled together the appliance message like they pulled together the 10 Zens message. I know I know try to name them and you win a cigar. But the fact of the matter is that Novell built its directory app message around Zenworks. And that worked with the analysts. It enabled them to understand Novell. Drew is to speak on Friday. I'm hoping he will put out an appliance message. The big pipe is the way to go. Every directory based app on top of edirectory/LDAP has a core that can be an appliance and each of these apps can scale dramatically if the core is an appliance. Whether this is authentication or network file storage for Just-on or reverse proxy, Novell has the heavy metal to put in a plug and play network appliance. Consulting can use these things, directory apps can use these things. Its all up to Drew.
