Actually, IMO when being approached by an express train, it is precisely the best time to be disciplined and patient. Without doubt most of my screw ups in any market have been a panic reaction to rapid price changes. Not only are mistakes made, but protective trades in reaction to quick moves are usually a waste of time and money. I'd love to have all the dollars back in my account that I've spent over the years in protective trades that ended up netting me nothing. And they were nearly all in a reaction that was completely emotional and irrational. Every trader lives with fear, Grasshopper. Those who succeed learn how to master it. -David
