<<I wonder how many are still holding the bag on IPO's?>>
I have 20 different accounts with my and my parents SS#.
I used whenever I apply for any IPO, I get 1 or 2 allocations at least. so it was like regular income for me. even when the IPO market cooled down, the average hot IPO can make $500 after 30 days (SWBD -NTGX-..).

so it meant a business for me thats why I was trying to play by the rules to keep it going.BUT,

During the transitional period when the IPO market all of a sudden went down, I wasn't selective in these IPOs because most of them were winning anyway, as I result I got stuck with some trash that I am paying hefty price for it now (IMPV-OPHM-ONVI from 70-22)

The problem when NASDAQ crashed, that I was holding the IPOs and already had passed the opportunity to sell at a high premium during the first couple of days of the IPO, after losing that premium, will I sell to protect 10% loss?, it was difficult.

but guess what? this 10% never ended and I end up with huge losses due to this 30 day holding policy.

till today, if I sell all the IPOs, I will sent 11 accounts to jail, losing both, the premium first day and any potential for any real hot IPO and potential for getting Mr Etrade attention and closing all my extra accounts like what had happened with some

I might be the stupid guy you were asking about
