Thanks for the info. Yes. When you play with margin you have to be prepared. I learned that in 1987. Only time ever I had to have margin calls in hourly and I was in Europe at the time and I could not get through by phone to my bank or brokerage. All circuits were busy. Where was the internet back then? Al Gore was too slow. gg. My portfolio did not look pretty when I came back. It was pretty depleted by hourly sell offs by my brokerage. That's the last time I got a margin call that had to be in before 3 days. Sometimes you learn your lessons.

But I also know that a little margin can be very profitable. But you got to be around when there is a market crash if you go overboard on it. gg. I sometimes look back at 87 and look at the stocks I lost and at my portfolio at that time and then try not to think about what those stocks would be worth today had I been here to take care of those margin calls. Sigh.
