Educator, What will be important, as you say, is to capture the interest of the end user. For me, this means providing a customizable interface. I want to arrange the things that interest me into a form that suits me. I want a virtual link to google.com in a small space in the upper right corner. I want a virtual link to dictionary.doc just below that. I want a virtual link to my portfolio in the upper left. You get the picture. By virtual link, I mean a link that provides all the functionality available from the above sites without having to open a new window and go to their site. It would also be nice for the destinations to be directly connected to ATHM's private network, so that I wouldn't have to wait.
