There is an incentive to be bullish if you sell a newsletter or run a website, higher prices = more $$$'s Newsletter writers are always $100 over the current market. I recall the September 1995 Las Vegas Gold Show, when gold was near $400 and every expert was predicting $500. I talked to several folks and said "gold will not get much over $400", and when they asked "you mean this year", I said "no, this decade" Sometimes reality is difficult for the goldbugs to accept.
