Thanks for your response. Your points of view have merit and I am inclined to agree with you.

If a 1000 share order is broken into 2 or more sub parts, the total commission for the sale of the sub parts will be the same as that for the sale of the 1000 share lot IF each of those sub parts were sold at the same per share price as for the 1000 share lot. At least this has been my experience with GREENLINE.
