There was no rhyme or reason for the stock to run from around $25 to well over $100 other than it caught the fancy of some Wall Street touts, and when these same touts bale because of a whiff of negative news (in this case, a rumor of a back-end loaded quarter) the stock is likely to trade down below its fundamental value

I always like it when Chuzzlewit, valuation guy extraordinaire, shows up. I agree with his statement in general and I agree with it with specific regard to Citrix. I haven't run any numbers, but my guess is that at best Citrix is now at fair value and probably not particularly undervalued.
