I could be wrong (who, me? :) but I think you're missing the gist of Moore's comments regarding price to vision. If I understand the big picture about that, he's merely saying that in this day and age of trying to figure out the value of companies impacted by the Internet, a relatively new factor on which there is no historical basis to draw sound investing conclusions, the PV ratio is being used in ways the PS ratio used to be used. Whereas I got the sense that you think it is to be applied to non-Gorillas, I gather that he is saying the market is applying it to all kinds of royalty, Gorilla and Godzilla plays including the silverbacks.

I do agree with you that when it is used for companies not yet in the bowling alley or in the case of enabling technologies, not yet in the tornado, that PV is just a fancy way of justifying story stocks that has no basis in Gorilla Gaming.
