I've been very reluctant to yell fraud where this company is concerned but the fact that they have the audacity to claim a worthless zinc suspension is efficacious against allergies without proof is so ridiculous, I won't even bother trying to explain (not that you would grasp the explanation). This company is pathetic and they are fraudulently misrepresenting their product. I can't believe the FTC or the FDA would allow this and I intend to make my dismay heard at both agencies If they can't get clinical studies on Ziscam published for colds, what chance do you give of ever seeing a published study on allergies? They are simply re-labelling the same product and making even more ludicrous claims regarding it's use to try and keep the ball rolling. I invite some of the scientific geniuses here to offer me the undoubtedly hilarious scientific explanation for how Ziscam and zinc are supposed to suppress an immune response (which is what an allergy is)? The real story here is the follow:

"The delay in keeping product fully stocked on the shelves in December, coupled with a very short cold season, which peaked in early January and declined much more rapidly than normal in January, February and March, limited our ability to fully realize during the 1999-2000 cold season what we believe is the significant market potential of Zicam(TM) Cold Remedy. The very short cold season in particular limited the level of reorders during the first quarter." "

They are trying to back peddle and cover their @sses when next quarter's earnings reveal the truth. The market already knows this and, despite a brief rally, will continue to punish this POS accordingly. The end of day rally was a traders rally. Nothing more.
