Today I tended to my garden and saw all was well. To those that have also planted VVI, LTBG, and CCL continue nurturing these flowers, for they will continue to get larger. To those that have planted INSN, do not fret. This is a wildflower and it tends to shrivel when the skies are dark and moody. El Grandissimo believes that INSN will also bloom magnificently with time.

I made a most wonderful discovery while clearing a corner of my garden that has been left untended for some time. I found a small wooden box-- a bit dirty and weathered but none the worse for wear. I must have left the box here a long time ago and forgotten about it (too many Margaritas I suppose). When I opened the box there was a small envelope inside and I remembered immediately that it contained apple seeds. The last time I planted apple trees on my island was in 1985! I opened the envelope expecting to find small brown and black seeds, but nothing prepared me for what tumbled out...the seeds had turned to gold!! I immediately started to calculate how many bottles of fine Tequila I could obtain for these seeds the next time the trading vessels landed on my island but then a small scrap of paper dropped out of the envelope like an afterthought. There was a message on it..the writing a bit fuzzy but legible:

Plant the seeds. The seeds will multiply. AAPL target 400.
