Healtheon/WebMD Names Microsoft Executive Charles Stevens To Board of Directors
Microsoft, Healtheon/WebMD Joint Presence at Upcoming HIMSS Conference Demonstrates Success of 10-Month Relationship
ATLANTA and REDMOND, Wash., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Healtheon/WebMD Corporation (Nasdaq: HLTH), the first end-to-end Internet healthcare company connecting physicians and consumers to the entire healthcare industry, and Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) today announced that Charles Stevens, Vice President of the Business Solutions Group for Microsoft, will join the Healtheon/WebMD Board of Directors.

Stevens will fill a vacancy on the Healtheon/WebMD board created by the resignation of Laura Jennings from her post as vice president of Worldwide Strategic Planning at Microsoft. In his leadership position at Microsoft, Stevens is responsible for establishing Microsoft(R) products and technologies as the leading platform for business applications. A Microsoft executive since 1984, Stevens brings almost 20 years experience to the Healtheon/WebMD board.
