Computer Associates and NetCurrents Form Collaboration to ``Secure the Internet'


ISLANDIA, N.Y. and BURLINGAME, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 30, 2000--Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE:CA) and NetCurrents, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTCS), the Premier Internet Intelligence Agency, today announced the formation of "Secure the Internet" - an initiative designed to provide a comprehensive Internet security service. The companies will combine their leading technologies to offer the global Internet community real-time information on potential Internet-based threats and to mitigate the risks associated with computer hacking, dissemination of computer viruses, Internet fraud and other security breaches; and to assist government agencies throughout the world combat Internet crime.

Under the "Secure the Internet" initiative, CA and NetCurrents will jointly provide the Internet community with timely alerts regarding potential computer virus threats and hacking information circulating on the Internet.
