<VSSI at .22 because of this thread. It's now under .10. I blame no one but myself. I got caught up in the hype and had cash that day. :)>
None of us are immune. I also bought VSSI, at .19 for the same reasons, and also had cash, had been away for a few days, and had missed some previous talk about it.
But it was also a pick on some other thread that day, and was heading the right direction, LOL and I just felt the need to buy something, anything.
Sold it the next day, at .1425 and .14.
I will never blame anyone else, for my actions...but out and out lying should not be tolerated by anyone, and I believe is illegal on a public forum.
If we all stick to facts, to what we are actually doing, and to what we see actually happening, then everyone can do their own DD and make their own decisions.
But we all get caught up in the fever from time to time, for example, when someone yell's "I'm buying a zillion of xxxx...." Best thing to do then, is slow down, check the charts, check the trading, and if it's already run...either forget it, and move on, or watch and wait for a shake out.
LOL of course, you then miss things like CARH that keep running another 200% after you first check them. Some things, make no sense.
We always used to try to identify and differentiate, between jumping on what could be a pos momo, and taking a position in a decent gamble..on the bottom. We need to do more of that.
<. Investing, especially in the pennies, should be diversified, money you can afford to lose and always take some profits on a big gain.>
You bet. Everyone should tattoo that to the inside of their eyelids.
Part of the reason I've only come down that $17k in the last three weeks, is my conservatism, and my protection, of my original investment. That's why the cash position is up $18k in the last 3 weeks.
LWEI for example. I bought it Feb 25 at .08 and .09 and it hit $1 plus the other day.........a nice 1000+% gainer, right?
Well yes and no. It was only at 10-11 bagger for me, for the last few thousand shares.
I sold portions, at .18, .20, .50, .65, .82, and the last of it at .91. Today they closed it at .75. |
