Dear John: Looking at CPQ solely as a trading vehicle IMHO its got very little downside risk at these prices and could easily return to 30-32 range once the tech wreck is over. I dont think this qtr will mean a lot. Even if its good its nothing to brag about and if its bad, well, CPQ has already taken quite a haircut. Its the future that will determine the price, and they still have enough credibility I THINK to justify a price around 30. I just heard an analyst (forgot which one) on CNBC last night say that he favored CPQ over DELL. Now thats one for the books, but probably its a valuation issue. JDN
