The Auction Channel Hits The U.S. With Morrell & Company And
Antiquorum - Wine And Watches Auction Double Bill

Manhattan's Grand Havana Room Is Host To Internet Auctions

NEW YORK, NY -- (INTERNET WIRE) -- 03/29/2000
-- The Auction Channel announced today that it
broke new ground with its first live Internet broadcast
with world wine specialists, Morrell & Company,
allowing clients not only to bid live, in real-time via the
Internet but also to place absentee bids on-line, both
via www.auctionchannel.com.

The extra dimension added to the bidding facility recorded nearly 100 on-line registrants, from as far as Brazil and
Australia to the finest cellars in California. Bidders were determined to grab a piece of oenology and fight off
competition, whether in cyberspace, in the room, on the telephone.

Fifty-five lots sold to interactive bidders with an additional twenty-nine lots selling to on-line absentee bidders,
helping to raise the sale's overall hammer price to $774,429.

David Molyneux-Berry, auctioneer and Master of Wine said, "I really think this is just the beginning of how auctions
will take place in the very near future, and this adds a whole new and exciting aspect to the traditional bidding
protocol."

ANTIQUORUM SALE:

The Auction Channel also teamed with Antiquorum, the world leading auctioneers in the field of fine watches and
clocks, for its opening sale of the season. The auction was highly successful and energized by the strong Internet
presence of on-line bidders accessing the sale via The Auction Channel.

Interactive bidders from all over North America and Canada set a ticking pace throughout the entire auction. Of
particular note is lot 149- where an interactive bidder in Quebec bid as high as $36,000 for an 18K yellow gold
Patek Philippe wristwatch. Overall, the interactive bidders secured five lots raising the total hammer by $15,000.

Oswaldo Patrizzi, Antiquorum's Chairman and Watch Expert commented, "Clients increasingly enjoy bidding
through the Internet, and The Auction Channel allows us to offer this service. I am delighted to see how well our
collaboration with The Auction Channel is working through this excellent response from interactive bidders."

Ron Chaimowitz, The Auction Channel's Chairman and CEO said," The success of these events is proof positive
that The Auction Channel is a secure and well established technological breakthrough bringing auction rooms into
the homes of collectors and aficionados world-wide."
