I printed it. What in the world is that last blip doing in the MZM growth? Where is Milton Friedman and the "shadow Fed" when we need them? This is an almost 10% growth of MZM in a year. Comparable figures (as I recall) during the Vietnam buildup were 5-6% of the old M1. This points towards much increased inflation. Do you think the Fed, having "prepared" us for Y2K is now offsetting higher oil prices by allowing more money growth?
