CHICAGO, Mar 31, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Olympic Cascade Financial Corporation
(Nasdaq:NATS) (CHX:OLY) announced today that National Securities Corporation, a
wholly owned subsidiary, will begin operations of NSCdirect (www.nscdirect.com)
on Monday, April 3rd, providing on-line investing services for its customers on
the Internet.

Individuals and institutions will be able to open accounts on the Internet, and
commence trading activity as soon as all the necessary paperwork has been
completed.

Steven A. Rothstein, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the
