I see upcoming internet shakeout good for QCOM and infra builders

after the automobile industry began consolidating, became more mature, in the 1950's following WW2, only then did acceleration really take hold with organized roadbuilding, federal subsidies for interstates, etc... we might see something very similar with federal subsidies for fiberoptic national backbone buildouts... all this national support and attention will lead to the equivalent of "two cars in every garage" like when I was a kid in the 1950's

gonna be "two wireless devices in every vest pocket"

as internets proceed thru winnowing process, the winners will be strong and viable, with sound mgmt, healthy business models, all encouraging growth of units and usage

the days of internet eyeballs and clicks and sticky sites are OVER
show me your beef !!!

QCOM will be a central beneficiary as wireless internet provides this whole sector a major infusion of adrenalin this summer
QCOM Alpha Gorilla will benefit from all competition atop its proprietary platform
the time is coming where winners and losers alike pay royalty to QCOM, both for device units and service providers

I love it, and Salmon Smith Barney sees it
