Well, I locked up SteelMoons, after all. I think what happens is that I wake up in sort of a fog, and then drink coffee and look at the paper, and while I am reading the A section and the business section and the entertainment section, I look at the ads for phone companies and internet companies, and I notice the catchy names. Blue something-or-other caught my eye, and I realized that SteelMoons is in the same category. Maybe names are getting more poetic now because all the simple ones are gone, and the good combos of parts of simple ones are gone, too.

My mental screening device is the aural image of a receptionist, young, not terribly bright, answering the company phone, and when I think about names I try the name out in my mind's ear using her voice.

At this point, I'd have to look at my receipts to get the precise count, but I've locked up about ten domain names, maybe a dozen. I still wish I could have LumiNet, though. I missed it by two weeks. If you snooze, you lose.

Now I am learning about web hosting and web publishing software, and realizing that I may have bitten off more than I can chew.

If I don't use SteelMoons, I'll transfer it to you for $35, which is what I paid for it.
