Hi Hank.
As we speak GUMM is trading a bit peculiar to this most recent announcment (up again on low volume), particularly given that the market was due for a bit of a bounce.
In my mind the issue to keep your eye on is their 1st qtr results and of course what might be behind this latest development.
You might contact Mr. Brown at GUMM and find out what they have in the works to support this recent product development.
You've heard that saying that "all boats rise and fall with the tide"......well I percive that the techs (including the bio techs and companies like GUMM that have risen on optimistic views and the inflow of money) are on the cusp of changing direction.
Should that be the case where we see lower highs and lower lows, I would guess this will effect GUMM as we.
BTW I read Streetwalkers post off Yahoo.....its unfortunate and is the reason shorts are not particularly liked. When stocks go up everyone wins......when they go down invaribly there are those that loose (ie long is a win win proposition with short being win loose).
Best Regards,
Mad2
BTW what I do find very strange is the surge in demand for GUMM stock late yesterday......3X normal demand.
Makes me think who was buying ahead of this announcment, and why........you draw the conclusions.
