I added more to my position this AM at $39 and change. As I see this morning's releases:
1) They need more money to build out the network ASAP. This is a good thing, because it gives them a significant advantage on any new companies trying to muscle in, and it reflects the explosion of demand.
2) I've seen it in the past when insiders have sold very near to an earnings release. In my experience, it has been a good sign, since if they knew that earnings would be bad, they'd be setting themselves up for a lawsuit. I see this as a potential positive for earnings relative to expectations.
3) I see that the previous message details who is selling. How long have they been unable to sell? Maybe the mansion needs a new coat of paint.. or they want to diversify their holdings. Looks like all of them still have a TON of shares, so my guess is diversification, and a short selling window. I view this aspect as only a mild negative.
4) If the company gets bought out in the near term, will it make any difference that some insiders sold now? Maybe if a buyout was announced, they'd again be unable to sell for a time...
5) The move up of the Asia global crossing deal could also impact insiders ability to sell in the future. But moving it up is a net positive to current shareholders.
All-in-all, I saw them as a net positive. That's why I bought more, and will buy even more if it goes lower. The bandwidth need is still coming, this changes that in no way, shape, or form.
