Grasping at straws...At least MRVC isn't such a disproportionate % of my holdings. Was a little over 29% -- now less than 23%. I still think there is one more good run in tech stocks with the expected good earnings which should start flowing next week. I'll sure feel like an idiot if this doesn't happen. I was buying fallen high fliers yesterday...apparently too soon. Ouch! Resisting the temptation to buy more MRVC.

Over on the JBL thread, Patroller posted he now has 600,000 shares.(He was an early discoverer of the value in ECM stocks a few years ago.) Imagine his pain if JBL had swings like we've been having.

I ought to quit watching the tape and concentrate on my war with the squirrels over my bird feeder. Trying to apply negative reinforcement training with a BB in the butt when the climb on the feeder. They seem to think its great sport. They must have eyes in the back of their heads. My office has a glass door overlooking the koi pond with the feeder on the island in the pond. They often see me stand up to move into shooting position and jump before I can even get close to shooting from the French doors in the living room.

Having about as much success training squirrels as I am investing.
