Rudedog, Hi!! RE: and Meridith's statements at the last shareholders' meeting, and during the summer, were way to "visionary" and not in line with what happened in the rest of 1999. Nothing was mentioned of any time frame on any thing DELL was preparing to do....IMO he was talking years...Not current year... If he is better suited for what you suggest...Then I believe this is what is best for DELL....I have no idea why this move was made but I can only assume they did what is best for DELL going forward...His comments last year that you refer ...IMO shouldn't be assumed as misleading...In no way do I feel he had control over what actually occurred...From what I've heard it was INTC that dropped the ball on DELL with false promises...
