Hmmm, well I'm saying that any level of taxation is inherently unfair because it makes you work involuntarily for the state. Therefore we should use tax rod sparingly. My main point is that for those who are deemed to be able to afford to pay taxes, the percentage should be the same. Even with a flat percentage those who make more pay more. I don't think it's fair for the government to take 40% of one's income at the margin, no matter how much you've made. If we need 20% of GDP to run the government, I can't see why the tax rate shouldn't flatten out at 25% on the top end. I am an adamant foe of so-called "progressive" taxation.
