The only thing I can see is that FFIV's solution is an appliance approach serve as add-on to existing switch while ATON, FDRY and ARPT make switches integrating FFIV's traffic management function. So while FFIV sells well into the existing infrastructure, it may have trouble for future growth. The weakness in FFIV is not along, similar company RDWR weak as well. The game is certainly not over with which solution is better.
