Dear Freeus,

We buy the share in our name instead of street name right from the broker. We had money in our investment club account but I have bought single shares from her in Mc Donalds, Coke, and Marcus. (I don't do much with DRIP accounts myself. I usually just buy and sell using my discount broker.) I had NO money at all with Dean Witter. I just had to pay within 3 days. She also had the DRIP forms sent to me. I think that one share of $40 stock would be $4.00 plus some sextra fees. It would probably be $6.50 or $7.00 altogether for the trade.
